Selling this dress is going to break my heart. I remember trying it on for the first time (I tried it on what felt like a 100x) and I was in awe…and I think my mum even went quiet!
Purchased in 2017 for my Feb 2018 wedding from Nifi Bridal in Melbourne and like many other gowns, it was only worn once. It was dry cleaned immediately and has been kept safely in storage since then – it is in perfect, new condition.
The design and detail of this dress are breathtaking. You will be utterly comfortable no matter the day, as you will see from my photos I danced all night and never worried about it falling down or being too hot or too cold.
The dress is ivory lace over a champagne lining and has a unique dual silhouette. It has a fitted lining and a beautiful flowing lace train over the top, it is classic and elegant while at the same time unique due to the stunning and intricate lace overlay.
The dress was carefully hemmed by a professional wedding dress tailor supplied by Nifi Bridal without losing the exquisite lace trim on the bottom of the skirt. I also had the lining of the skirt taken in at the thigh about 1cm. I am about 160cm tall and wore 13cm wedges (they didn’t last long lol). The train can be tied up elegantly if needed – I had the train tied up at the first look photos (regret not letting it out) and had the train out for the ceremony…and for the rest of the wedding cause it was so much fun! I am between a size 6 – 8 and I purchased the Jack Sullivan size 8 (measurements guide for size 8: waist 26 inches, bust 33 inches, hips 37 inches) but I did get it taken in a little bit. I would recommend visiting me to try it on, however, it’s up to you.
I will be sad to see it go but excited for the next person who will feel like a princess on their day.
